Meet Nat Roth (she/her/hers),
relational and trauma therapist in Denver and Nederland, co & OnLINE throughout Colorado
We are multidimensional beings. Here, all parts of you are celebrated.
If you grew up feeling different or inadequate, finding safety in your body and your relationships as an adult can feel insurmountable.
Instead, you might feel hypervigilant, anxious, and disconnected. As though you’re climbing to the peak of a high mountain without a map, guide, or proper gear.
You may find yourself…
Disconnected
from yourself, your partner(s),
and your loved ones
Stuck
in unhelpful patterns that aren’t serving you
Cycling
through behaviors that feel shameful or imbalanced
Easily overwhelmed
by the systems in the world around you
You want to create more harmony in your relationships and align your life with your truest nature, but you’re unsure how to move forward. You’d really like a guide and a map for the trail ahead.
If this is you, I see you. And you’re not alone.
Reconnect to your body-soul-mind wisdom.
Inner Elements Relational Therapy was born from a desire to facilitate soul-led, body-centered healing where we learn to welcome all parts of ourselves.
Inner elements is about connecting to your true nature, so you can have more ease and fluidity in your relationships with yourself and others. We are all nature, and those elements are inside of us.
When we understand the ways our deepest elements are intertwined with our health, we can tap into our own ever-flowing sources of wisdom, resilience, and strength. Here, my approach is rooted in not only helping you connect more deeply to yourself, but to loved ones and the world around you.
Seen, heard, and valued.
As your trauma therapist, I aim to offer a secure space to explore and expand your inner landscape.
I bring my humanness into the therapy space. Many say that I offer them a feeling of connectedness and playfulness; a space to be authentically themselves; and invitations to access their inner joy and freedom.
As your therapist and guide in this journey, it’s my greatest honor and intention to show up in this way.
I approach my work with an open heart and a commitment to inclusivity, making me well-suited to connect with a diverse range of populations. My experience has allowed me the privilege of working with individuals, couples, and families from various backgrounds and life circumstances. This exposure has equipped me with the adaptability to engage with a broad spectrum of folks, fostering an environment where each person feels seen, heard, and valued.
I offer an experiential, somatic, and trauma-informed lens in our therapeutic co-creation.
My approach is a combination of my soft directness and playful spirit with the science and art of therapy.
My Methods
I am trained in a variety of therapeutic methods that allow me to be creative in offering a style that aligns with your values and needs. Like a rainbow, I bring a technicolor range of skills and experiences to our work together to offer you affirming, grounded, and embodied care. The primary arch in my rainbow of offerings is Internal Family Systems. This type of therapy views our inner world as a system of many parts and welcomes them all into a deeper, more integrated relationship with the Self.
I hold advanced training in:
Internal Family Systems
Somatic Therapy
Emotionally-Focused Therapy
Ecotherapy
Expressive Arts Therapies
Additionally, I’m a yoga teacher and Reiki practitioner, and I use my knowledge in these fields to help you further deepen your own somatic and connective experiences.
All are Welcome
I’m committed to providing inclusive care for everyone. I continue to invest in training, education, and life experiences that center anti-oppressive care, culturally sensitive care, decolonizing therapy, neurodivergent-affirming care, LGBTQIA+ affirming care, and non-pathologizing, human-centered approaches to therapy.
My Values
I have experienced and witnessed the ways secure, loving, and compassionate relationships offer an invitation and environment for deeper healing. I believe we are in relationship with everything, all the time.
In our therapeutic relationship, I root strongly into core values that are at the foundation of our work together.
Connection
I am continually inspired, humbled, and awestruck by the profound transformations witnessed in the people I have the privilege to accompany. These changes don’t happen without building strong trust and connection in the therapeutic relationship.
Fluidity
As our work together evolves, your needs, desires, and moods will be ever-changing. That’s part of our humanity and very welcome here. I maintain a fluid and flexible approach to make sure your sessions always reflect your needs in the present moment.
Presence
In our work together, I am wholly committed to being present with you, and I’ll encourage your presence as well. Working through trauma and reconnecting to our sensations and emotions can bring up a lot of feelings, and I’ll walk alongside you every step of the way.
Inclusivity
It is vital for you to feel empowered to show up with me as the most authentic version of yourself. I am passionate about offering culturally-sensitive, trauma-informed, and human-centered care.
Collaboration
I’m not here to tell you what to do or how to show up to your own life. Instead, I draw on a collaborative relationship with you based on curiosity, trust, and unconditional respect.
Soul-Led
Soul-led care is at the core of all I do. To me, this means providing a space for you to explore your heart, connect with your deepest values, and find your voice.
Therapy with me may be right for you if you…
